How to use Repoke

Everything you need to set up email-triggered reminders — from sending your first email to managing your schedule.

What is Repoke?

Repoke is an email-powered reminder service. You send an email, and Repoke sends it back to you at the right time. No apps, no calendars, no notifications buried in a feed.

Just send an email:

Send an emailSimpleAI

3
You're in
Once verified you land on your dashboard. From here you can send your first trigger email.

Trigger email

The simplest way to set a reminder is to email Repoke directly. No special format required.

Send from your registered email address to r@repoke.me. The subject and body become the reminder content.
Our AI reads your message and extracts the timing automatically — write naturally in any phrasing that feels right to you.
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Team meeting prep
Remind me about this 1 hour before the call on Friday at 2pm
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Follow up with Alex
Send this back in 3 days
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Dentist appointment
Remind me tomorrow morning

Repoke replies to your original email thread at the scheduled time, so the context is right there with the reminder.

The confirmation reply shows the scheduled time in your local timezone — detected automatically from your email client or your account settings.
If Repoke can't find a scheduling intent in your email, it will reply with a helpful message asking you to rephrase — no reminder will be set silently.
You can send up to 20 emails per hour. If you exceed that, Repoke will reply to let you know — no reminder will be dropped silently.

Multiple reminders in one email

You can schedule up to five reminders from a single email by listing multiple times in your message.

Our AI extracts all scheduling intents and queues each one separately — confirmation lists them all in order.
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Project milestone
Remind me in 2 days, then again on Friday, then next Monday morning
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Follow up chain
Ping me tomorrow at 10am, then in 1 week, then in 1 month

Repoke will confirm all scheduled times in its reply. Each reminder arrives as a separate email in the same thread.

Recurring reminders

Use words like every, daily, weekly, or monthly to set up a repeating reminder from a single email.

Our AI detects recurring patterns and automatically re-queues each occurrence — you don't need to send a new email each time.
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Weekly standup prep
Remind me every Monday at 8am
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Investor update
Send this back every Friday
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Daily check-in
Ping me every day at 9am
The confirmation email tells you the pattern was detected and when the first reminder will arrive. You can see and manage recurring reminders from your dashboard.

Checking your reminders

You can ask Repoke to send you a list of your upcoming reminders — no need to open the dashboard. Just email r@repoke.me with a question about your schedule.

Repoke reads your subject or body for keywords like show, list, get, fetch, see, what are, send me, or give me alongside reminders — then replies with your schedule for the requested period.
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Show my reminders for today
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: What reminders do I have tomorrow?
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: List reminders
What do I have scheduled this week?
To: r@repoke.me
Subject: Upcoming reminders
Give me my reminders for next week

Repoke replies with a numbered list of your reminders for the requested period — including the subject and scheduled time for each one. Times are shown in your account timezone.

Supported time ranges: today, tomorrow, this week, last week, next week, and this month. If no range is mentioned, Repoke defaults to today.

Snoozing reminders

When a reminder arrives, you can snooze it by simply replying to the email. No special address needed — just reply and tell us when to remind you again.

Reply to any reminder email with a new time. Our AI reads your reply and reschedules the reminder in the same thread.

You can write naturally — or just say "snooze":

Reply: Snooze 2 hours
Reply: Remind me tomorrow morning
Reply: In 3 days
Reply: Next Monday
Reply: snooze
No time given — defaults to 1 hour from now

The rescheduled reminder arrives as a reply in the same email thread, so your original context stays intact.

Meeting invites

Forward a calendar or meeting invite to Repoke and it will automatically schedule a reminder at the meeting start time — no need to specify the time yourself.

Repoke detects meeting invites by looking for calendar data in the email body — things like DTSTART, join the meeting, you've been invited, or a conference link. Standard iCalendar attachments with a UTC DTSTART are parsed directly. Other formats are extracted by AI. A plain email that just mentions "call" or "meeting" in the subject will be treated as a regular reminder request instead.

How to use it:

1
Forward the invite
Forward any meeting or calendar invite to r@repoke.me from your registered address.
2
AI reads the timing
Our AI extracts the event start time from the invite — including timezone. No extra instructions needed.
3
Get reminded at the right time
The reminder arrives in the same thread at the meeting start time so the invite details are right there.

If no time can be found in the invite, the reminder defaults to 24 hours from when the email was received.
